What is an Asset

PreviousEvent Stream FilteringNextWhat are asset types

Last updated 1 year ago

An asset refers to something that exists; it could be a particular person, a specific machine, a sensor, or a given record. Examples of assets include but are not limited to, logistic vehicles, employees, pumps, and sensors on remote equipment.

Within each individual asset record, we can store an unlimited amount of unique sub-records regarding that specific asset, encompassing document and compliance records, key asset metrics, and attributes about that individual device.

All assets are associated with a parent template class, which includes relevant metadata fields for streamlined reporting and insights
