Searching and Creating a Place

  1. From the map toolbar on the right-hand side of the screen, click on the magnifying glass , option item to open the global search feature.

  2. Within the global search bar, type in the address location or the name of the place you want to locate.

  3. Select and click on the best option that meets your requirements

  4. To create a Place, click on the “create a place” icon on the location bar to open the "create a place" side draw

  5. Enter the details of the location so you can remember it for the future, remember to use the drawing tools to create the geofence around the new place and don’t forget to select the “type of place” it is.

  6. After creating the Place, you can always monitor it via the gatehouse report (In Detail) or the Place’s Insights module (High-Level Reporting).

a. To monitor if via the gatehouse select the place from the table within the Place’s module and click on the “View Activity” option and the gatehouse report will open

b. To see it via the High-Level place Insights, navigate to the menu bar on the left and select the “Place Insight” option from the Reports menu
