How to Use Tyre Health Overview
The Tyre Health Overview gives you a single place to monitor tyre health across your TPMS-enabled fleet.
Instead of checking each asset individually, you can quickly identify which assets have critical or warning tyre conditions, investigate individual tyres and determine where action may be required.
1. Open Tyre Health Overview
From the main Sky Ledge navigation menu, select Tyre Overview.
The Tyre Health Overview will open and display the assets in your fleet that have TPMS installed.
At the top of the report, you can also see the total number of TPMS-enabled assets currently available within your fleet.
2. Understand the fleet overview
Each asset in the overview provides key information to help you understand its current tyre health.
This includes:
Asset name
Number of critical tyre events
Number of warning tyre events
Asset make and model
Current or last reported location
Last reported update
This gives you a quick way to understand both the condition of the asset's tyres and how recently information has been received.
3. Start with the assets requiring attention
When you first open Tyre Health Overview, assets are automatically prioritised based on their critical tyre events. Assets with the highest number of critical events appear towards the top of the list.
This means you don't need to search through the entire fleet to find potential problems. You can start with the assets requiring the most attention and work your way through them.
You can also sort the list using available information such as the asset name, critical events or warning events.
4. Check the last reported update
Before investigating an asset, check its Last Reported Update.
This tells you how recently information has been received for that asset. This is particularly useful when reviewing tyre health because it provides context around how current the information is.
If an asset has not reported recently, consider this when reviewing its tyre health information and investigate why updated information may not have been received.
5. Opening the individual asset's Tyre Health view
Select an asset from the overview to investigate its tyres in more detail.
A side panel will open showing the asset's Tyre Health diagram.
The diagram represents the physical tyre configuration of the asset, including its different axles and individual tyre positions.
At the top of the panel, you will see an overall summary showing the number of:
Critical tyres
Warning tyres
Healthy tyres
This provides a quick indication of the overall tyre health of the selected asset.
6. Understand tyre health
The Tyre Health diagram makes it easier to identify where an issue is located on the vehicle. Rather than simply knowing that an asset has a tyre issue, you can see the individual tyre position requiring attention.
Use the Critical, Warning and Healthy classifications to determine which tyres should be investigated first.
Start with critical tyres, followed by tyres displaying a warning condition.
7. Investigating an individual tyre
Move your mouse over an individual tyre in the Tyre Health diagram to see additional information about that tyre.
Where available, this can include:
Pressure
Temperate
Tyre make and model
Distance travelled
Tyre serial number
This allows you to identify the physical tyre associated with an issue and provides additional information that may be useful when coordinating maintenance.
8. Decide what action is required
Once you have identified an affected tyre, use the information available in Tyre Health Overview to determine the appropriate next step.
Depending on the situation, this may mean contacting the driver to make them aware of an issue or coordinating with your maintenance or workshop team to inspect and rectify the tyre.
Tyre Health Overview is designed to help you move from identifying a problem to understanding which asset and tyre requires attention.
Example: Investigating a critical tyre
Imagine you open Tyre Health Overview and an asset appears at the top of the list with multiple critical tyre events.
Rather than navigating through different assets to investigate the problem:
Select the affected asset.
Review the Critical, Warning and Healthy tyre summary.
Locate the affected tyre using the Tyre Health diagram.
Hover over the tyre to review its available details.
Check the asset's location and last reported update for additional context.
Determine whether the driver or maintenance team needs to take action.
This provides a much faster path from identifying that a problem exists to understanding where it is and deciding what to do next.
Tips for using Tyre Health Overview
Start with critical issues
The overview automatically prioritises assets with critical tyre events. Start at the top of the list and investigate these assets first.
Don't overlook warnings
Warning conditions can help highlight tyres that may require attention. Once critical issues have been reviewed, work through assets displaying warnings.
Check how recently the asset reported
Always consider the Last Reported Update when reviewing tyre information. This helps you understand how current the information displayed is.
Use the tyre diagram to locate the problem
The visual tyre configuration helps you move from an asset-level warning to the specific tyre position that requires investigation.
Use tyre details when coordinating maintenance
Information such as tyre make and model, distance travelled and serial number can provide useful context when discussing an issue with your maintenance or workshop team.
From monitoring to proactive tyre management
Tyre Health Overview brings TPMS information across your fleet into a single view, making it easier to see where attention is required.
By regularly reviewing critical and warning conditions, investigating affected tyres and taking appropriate action, your team can spend less time searching through individual assets and more time addressing the tyre issues that matter.
Last updated
